(B) Refund Policy

Products purchased from The Web Sushi may be refunded only if canceled within the refund period specified below in this policy. Some products have different policies or requirements for a refund associated with them, including some products that are not eligible for a refund under any circumstance. Please see below for refund terms applicable to such products.

“Date of the transaction”, for the purpose of this Refund Policy, means the date of purchase of any product or service, which includes the date any renewal is processed by TheWebSushi.com,  in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable product or service agreement.

“Refund Period”, you may cancel a product at any time, but a refund will only be issued if you request a refund with The Web Sushi customer service within the refund time frame specified for the applicable product, if available at all.

No Refund After Account Closure. 

If eligible for a refund, it is necessary for you to request a refund prior to account closure. You may elect to close your account with us at any time, but upon account closure you will no longer be eligible for a refund as otherwise permitted under this Refund Policy.

Standard Refund Terms

Annual Plans+ – Within 30 days of the date of the transaction.

Monthly Plans*+ – Within 48 hours of the date of the transaction.

*Monthly Plans include all plans with less than a 1-year term (e.g., 6 mos., 9 mos., etc.)
+Security products with remediation service cannot be refunded once a cleanup request has been submitted._

Products with Special Refund Terms

Ad Spend

For SEV Premium, the ad spend, and search marketing fees are non-refundable for the current month. We may refund future pre-paid months and future-month additional ad spend and search marketing fees.

Assisted Service: Refundable after the initial three months.

Auction Featured Listings: Refundable during the first 24 hours if there are no bids.

Auctions Additional Categories: Refundable during the first 48 hours if there are no bids.

Domain Backorders

Once a Domain Backorder credit has been utilized for an auction, it becomes non-refundable. However, if the credit has not been applied to an auction yet, it can be eligible for a refund within 30 days from the date of the transaction.

Expert Services

If an Expert Service has been completed, it is not refundable. However, if the service has not been carried out yet, it can be refunded within 30 days from the transaction date.

Get Started Service

Once a Get Started Service has been provided, it is not eligible for a refund. However, if the service has not been executed yet, it can be refunded within 30 days from the transaction date.

The Web Sushi IT Services

If the IT Service has been provided, it cannot be refunded. However, if the service has not been provided yet, you can request a refund within 30 days from the date of the transaction.

• For annual subscriptions, no refunds are available.
• For monthly subscriptions, if one or more requests have been fulfilled during the billing period, your monthly subscription cannot be refunded.

Hosting Services.

Once the Hosting Service has been completed, it becomes non-refundable. However, if the service has not been performed yet, it can be refunded withing 30 days from the transaction date.

Purchased Product w/ Free Domain

If you decide to cancel a purchased product that comes with a free name,

If you decide to cancel a purchased product that comes with a free domain name, the refund amount will be reduced by the list price of the domain name. The list price refers to the price of the domain name as stated on The Web Sushi’s website, without any promotional, discounted, or reduced pricing.

Services

Website Services: 

• Build Fee: The cancellation policy states that if a cancellation is made while the work is in progress, a 30% fee will be charged. If the cancellation occurs after the site design has been delivered for review, a 70% fee will be applied. Once the first revision is completed or 30 days have passed since the transaction date, no refunds will be given. After 180 days from the transaction date, when the performance has started, the web service design will be considered completed, and no refunds will be possible.

• Hosting: Entitled to a refund as outlined in the aforementioned “Standard Refund Terms.”

•         Logo Design: If you cancel the logo design project while it is in progress, a 40% cancellation fee will be applied. Once the artwork is delivered or within 30 days of the transaction date, no refunds will be given.
•         Website Makeover Services: If you cancel the website makeover services while they are in progress, a 30% cancellation fee will be charged. If the site design has been delivered for review and you decide to cancel, a 70% cancellation fee will be imposed. Once the services are completed, they become non-refundable.
•         Website Care and Marketing Services: If you purchase Website Care or Marketing Services and use the plan during the billing period, the subscription becomes non-refundable.

. Marketing Services Premium: In the case of bundled Marketing Services with Website Design Services, if there is no customer contact for 6 weeks, the Marketing Services will be terminated and no refund will be provided.

Usage of Website Care and Marketing Services is determined by either The Web Sushi completing one or more requests or, in the case of a bundled plan with Website Design Service, by the delivery of the site design.

If no usage of the Website Care or Marketing Services plan has occurred, you are eligible for a refund as defined in the “Standard Refund Terms” mentioned above.

SEO Services

The utilization of SEO Services requires a commitment of 12 months for optimal results. It is expected that you will use the Services for the entire duration of this 12-month term.

If you decide to cancel any of the SEO Services plans within 48 hours of the transaction date, you will be entitled to a full refund for the remaining months in your committed term. The refund will be credited back to your original payment method. However, no refund will be given for the months that have already passed.

For monthly plans, if you cancel after the initial 48-hour period, you will be responsible for paying for the current month of SEO Services. However, The Web Sushi will not charge you for any future months. Please note that you will not receive a refund for the current or past months in this case.

For semiannual or annual plans, if you cancel after the 48-hour period, you will be responsible for paying for the current month of SEO Services. Additionally, The Web Sushi will issue a prorated refund of 50% to your original payment method for any remaining unused months.

In summary, committing to SEO Services means using them for 12 months. You can get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours, but no refund for previous months. Cancelling after 48 hours means paying for the current month, and monthly plans won’t be billed for future months. Semiannual or annual plans will receive a 50% prorated refund for any unused months.

If you haven’t activated the product, you can ask for a refund within 30 days starting from the transaction date.

Social Media Management

You have the option to cancel Social Media Management at any moment, and we will not charge you for subsequent months. Nevertheless, we cannot reimburse you for the current or previous months as the service has already been provided. If you decide to cancel Social Media Management within 48 hours of your initial purchase or renewal and request a refund, you can receive a complete refund for that particular month of service. However, after 48 hours, you are accountable for the payment of that month, although you will not be billed for the following months

Trustee Fees

If the domain registration is unsuccessful, you can get a refund for the trustee fees. However, when it comes to renewal, the trustee fees are non-refundable.

Website Security

You can request a refund only if it’s within 30 days of your purchase, and it will only be given if a manual malware removal was not performed.

WordPress Premium Support

You may receive a refund if the plan is canceled before the billing cycle ends and no credits have been used. If any services have already been provided within the current month, that month’s payment is non-refundable. However, if the services have not been performed yet, you can request a refund within 30 days of the transaction date. Additionally, if you prepaid for future months and cancel the plan, you may also be eligible for a refund for the unused months of service.

• Office Max Bundles
• Premium Domain Names
• Redemption Fees
• Transfers (if successful)
